Easy Strawberry Desserts

     Strawberries are considered one of the healthiest fruits .They are packed with antioxidant , lower blood pressure and protect your heart .Packed with essential vitamins , cholesterol and fat free .
Strawberry Meringues  
     One of the best things about summer is strawberries , but you don't have to miss out or tasty strawberry desserts if you're dieting .This low calorie meringue is perfect for summer afternoon on your non- fast days .
       This classic summer desserts looks and taste as a traditional paviova as less sugar is used , but the slightly soft chewy texture is delicious and makes a lovely contrast to the creamy quark and fresh strawberries .
       
Ingredients
Serves 2

200 g Greek style yogurt
1 tbsp honey
4 bought meringue nests
200 g punnet strawberries 
       washed, hulled , halved
30 g Cadbury
Flake bar , crumbled Method
1. Combine the yogurt and honey in a bowl .
2 .Place the meringue nests on serving plates .
3 . Top with the yogurt mixture and decorate with strawberries .
4 . Sprinkle evenly with Flake to serve .

Strawberry -Buttermilk Sherbet
  This Strawberry Buttermilk Sherbet is the perfect desserts for all those delicious summer strawberries ! It's so easy ,sweet and so refreshing . Ingredients
Serves 2



2 cups fresh strawberries
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
fresh mint sprigs to garnish

Method
1 Process strawberries in a food processor or blender 30 seconds or until smooth , stopping to scrape down sides .Pour strawberries puree through a fine wire mesh strainer into a large bowl , pressing with back of a spoon .Discard solids .Add buttermilk, sugar and vanilla to puree ,stir until well blended .Cover and chill 1 hour .

2 . Pour strawberry mixture into freezer container of a 11/2 qt. electric ice cream maker .and freeze according to manufacturer's instruction .Garnish if desired .
