Easy Garlicky Baked Shrimp

        Shrimps are the most popular seafood in around world ,and these tasty prawns can be a healthy addition to diet .Shrimps are low in fat in calories and have a relatively neutral flavor that makes them a natural addition to salads , pastas, soups and stir fried dishes .These recipes offer delicious and healthy ways to cook up shrimp for lunch , dinner, or as a healthy snack .


 Oven -baked shrimp is one of the better ways to cook shrimp .Frying and grilling shrimp causes flavor and moisture loss , which can make the shrimp turn out rubbery after it cooks .Cooking shrimp in the oven preserves the natural flavors you'll savor ,long after you finish eating .For the best results , use fresh shrimp ,which is unfrozen and still has its shell. The shell helps protects the flavor .moisture and texture of the shrimp .

 Fresh and Frozen Shrimp
Unless you live near the coast and have access to really fresh shrimp , the shrimp you buy will have been frozen at some point in time .It may already be thawed if you buy it out of the seafood case , but it's most frequently sold frozen .

If you have time , take the shrimp out of the freezer and put it in the refrigerator the night before cooking to let it thaw .Or quickly thaw the shrimp under some running water .

Serves 4
Ingredients
11/4 lbs medium shrimps , peeled and deveined
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 tsp salt
3 garlic cloves , minced
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
4 tsp olive oil

Method
1 .Preheat oven to 400 degrees .

2 .Coat 4 individual gratin dished with cooking spray .

3 . Divide shrimp among dishes ; set aside .

4 .Combine breadcrumbs and next 4 ingredients ,stir in juice and oil .

5 . Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over shrimp.

6. Place dishes or a baking sheet .

7 . Bake at 400 degrees for 13 minutes or until shrimp are done and breadcrumbs are lightly browned .
